To make a purchase on Merkandi, you first need to create an account and pay the registration fee. After the payment is credited, your account will be activated and you will gain access to sellers' contact details.

Merkandi is not a party to the transactions and does not act as an intermediary in payments or delivery. After finding an interesting offer, you must contact the seller directly, agree with them on all details of the transaction (price, quantity, payment method, delivery terms, warranty, etc.) and finalize the purchase directly with them.

Merkandi does not operate its own warehouse or sell products directly. All offers come from verified wholesalers from over 150 countries, mainly in Europe.

Information about the location of a specific seller's warehouse can be found:

• in the seller's profile (company details and location section),
• directly in the offer, where the shipping country or collection location is often indicated.

Access to full seller details, including warehouse location information, is available after creating an account and paying for a subscription.

You cannot create a full test buyer account on Merkandi, but there is a limited trial option for sellers.

Buyer accounts

Merkandi does not offer test accounts for buyers. Access to contact details of sellers and full offer information is available only with a paid subscription. This model helps us:

• maintain a higher level of security and verification on the platform,
• reduce the number of non-serious inquiries to wholesalers,
• ensure that sellers receive contacts only from genuinely interested, verified buyers.

Thanks to this, transaction quality is higher and both sides save time and resources.

Seller accounts – trial

If you want to sell on Merkandi:

• we offer a 30-day trial seller account,
• during the trial you can create and publish offers, test how Merkandi works and check interest in your products,
• the trial account does not allow purchases – it is intended solely to test sales options.

At any time you can upgrade from the trial to a paid seller account, which gives full functionality and visibility in all standard areas of the platform.

All sellers and their offers go through a verification process before being published. This procedure is designed to increase the safety of transactions and reduce the risk of dealing with unreliable partners.

Additionally, offers containing branded products are subject to extra checks to confirm the authenticity and origin of the goods. We do our best to ensure that only reliable wholesalers and genuine products appear on Merkandi.

However, despite all efforts, we cannot provide a 100% guarantee of a seller's reliability or product authenticity. This is because Merkandi is not an intermediary in transactions – we do not participate in payments or logistics and we never see the goods physically, so we cannot inspect them ourselves.

For your own security, we strongly recommend:

• using secure payment methods that offer buyer protection (e.g. escrow, payment services with dispute options),
• requesting additional documentation from the seller (invoices, certificates, photos, serial numbers),
• if possible, verifying the goods in person or via a trusted logistics partner before making a large purchase.

By combining our verification process with your own due diligence, you significantly increase the safety and comfort of doing business on Merkandi.
